BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:
Mother Mary School offers parents the option of before and after school care for their children. Children may be dropped off as early as 6:45 a.m. and picked up as late as 6:00 p.m. The Before School Program (BSP) and After School Program (ASP) provides care for those children whose parent's schedules do not coincide with school schedules. For more information and rates, please inquire in the office.

PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION:
Mother Mary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meetings are usually scheduled four times a year. Each household is expected to send an adult representative to these meetings. Each meeting is important and affects the parents and the students directly. The names of parents/guardians who attend these meetings are kept on file in the school's office. A membership fee is paid at the first meeting. This organization is only a good as we make it. The school and the children as a whole benefit from concerned involved parents. We urge you to join the PTO and be an active participant in all activities they sponsor.

CAFETERIA AND LUNCH PROGRAM:
Mother Mary School offers" nutritious hot lunches prepared daily. The cost of the meal is minimal and benefit to the children is unparalleled. A lunch menu will be distributed at the beginning of each month.

If your child brings a bag lunch, please prepare it keeping in mind the nutritional needs of a growing child. No child will go without lunch. If your child forgets lunch or lunch money, please call the school so that a lunch can be prepared. Lunch money is collected by the teacher at the beginning of each day_ For the primary grades, we suggest paying for lunch on a weekly basis. When given money every day, children may forget or lose their money.

For grades Pre-K thru grade 3, there is a midmorning snack break. The school does not provide a snack, please pack an extra snack for your child to eat during this time. Dependent on availability of resources and funds, the Pre-k classes will be provided with a juice or other drink during snack time by the school.

FUND-RAISING ACTIVITIES
In an effort to keep tuition costs down, Mother Mary School uses fund raising as a "'stopgap: from higher tuition costs. With the rising costs of running a school, we depend heavily on fund raising monies now more than ever. However, parents who do not wish to participate in such activities must make a contribution of $250.00 per year to the school.

Every student is required to participate in fund raising activities sponsored by the school. Historically, we have one of two major events in the spring. Information on fund raising events will be distributed prior to the event. Please encourage your child to do his or her best with this project/Each children, parent and staff members' contributions can make the difference between a successful and an unsuccessful fund-raising event.
